Bowen Yang on coming out to his parents, ultimatum they gave him

02:13

In a preview of this week’s Sunday Sitdown, “Saturday Night Live” cast member Bowen Yang opens up to Sunday TODAY’s Willie Geist about his conflict of coming out to his parents. He also reveals that his parents told him they would allow him leave home in Denver, Colorado, to go to New York University if he went to conversion therapy first. “Those poor people did not realize that’s one of the gayest schools in the country,” he quips.
